Kassie Goodman

Clinical Psychotherapy Intern

Kassie Goodman is a marriage and family therapist in training and a graduate student at Northwestern University. She specializes in working with family systems, including families navigating co-parenting and other transitional challenges, as well as individuals impacted by anxiety, depression, substance use, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Kassie practices through an integrative systemic therapy lens and solution-focused, collaborative approach to help patients identify strengths, clarify goals, and create meaningful change. She also incorporates narrative and parts-based work along with mindfulness tools to support greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, and compassion toward internal experiences. Her approach is relational and whole-person centered, tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Kassie earned her bachelor’s degree in film and television production from the University of Southern California. She spent nearly a decade working as a creative executive before transitioning into the field of psychotherapy.

Kassie strives to create a warm, grounded therapeutic space, where patients feel supported in understanding patterns, strengthening connection, fostering healthy co-parenting dynamics, and moving forward with intention.

Outside of work, Kassie enjoys spending time with her husband, her two children, and their labradoodle.
