Kaylynn Kuo is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Northwestern University with a strong passion for supporting children, teens, and families. She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Washington and is currently training in individual counseling, play therapy, and diagnostic assessment.
Kaylynn approaches therapy with warmth, empathy, and a belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing. Her work is rooted in a strengths-based, culturally responsive, and client-centered approach. She focuses on building self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment in a safe and collaborative space.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Kaylynn brings a global perspective and deep cultural humility to her work. She is committed to creating an inclusive and affirming environment where clients of all backgrounds and identities feel seen, supported, and valued.
Kaylynn is honored to be training under the supervision of the Pacific Mind Spa team and is excited to continue her journey toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to advocacy, wellness, and compassionate mental health care.
