Paula Nehorai is a dedicated associate therapist with a dual background in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. She believes that healing is not one-size-fits-all—each person’s journey is unique, and finding the right therapeutic connection is a key part of meaningful growth. Her goal is to create a supportive space where individuals feel truly seen, understood, and empowered to move forward.
Paula earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Vanguard University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Her academic path reflects a deep commitment to both the science and human experience of mental health care.
She has experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, OCD, depression, PTSD, and cognitive changes related to dementia and brain trauma. Paula is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and also integrates mindfulness-based practices, solution-focused therapy, person-centered work, and family systems approaches to meet each client’s needs.
Paula’s style is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. She is committed to helping clients build clarity, resilience, and self-awareness—so they can reconnect with purpose and navigate life with confidence. Whatever someone is facing, Paula believes they shouldn’t have to face it alone, and that positive, lasting change is always possible.
