Simran Idnani is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Growing up in a culture where mental health was often misunderstood, Simran saw how stigma keeps people from seeking support. She is deeply motivated to help patients feel understood, empowered, and supported through evidence-based, compassionate care. She has a strong clinical interest in innovative treatment options like Spravato® (esketamine) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Simran is passionate about helping patients explore safe, evidence-based options that support meaningful progress and long-term well-being.
Simran earned her doctor of nursing practice in psychiatric-mental health from Columbia University, where she completed advanced psychiatric case management. She earned her bachelor of arts in psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she developed a strong foundation in behavioral science and mental health theory that continues to inform her clinical practice.
Outside of work, Simran values activities that help her stay balanced and creative. She spends her time reading, cooking, exploring art, watching movies and shows, exercising, and playing board and video games. She also loves trying new foods and traveling whenever she can. These interests help her stay grounded and bring a sense of curiosity and connection to her work with patients.
