Yadimahara Alvarez is a compassionate and empathetic therapist who is dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families through life’s challenges. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University in 2018, followed by a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2020, all with a focus on serving young people and their families.

Yadimahara has worked extensively with at-risk foster youth in both Intensive Field-Based Services and Wraparound programs. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC), Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and substance use concerns.

She draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), and Risk Assessment. Yadimahara is passionate about helping clients build resilience and find healing in a supportive, nonjudgmental space. Her approach is rooted in kindness, respect, and a deep commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
