Carly Compton is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in treating eating disorders, body image/self esteem concerns, and understanding the connections between physical and mental health. She incorporates compassion-focused tools within her care, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), flash technique for trauma, and nervous system regulation techniques for mind-body healing.

Carly completed her master’s degree in social work at California State University, Long Beach. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Carly brings numerous years of experience working in school settings as both an educator and mental health specialist.

Carly understands that no two journeys are alike and believes each person deserves a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their specific needs and aspirations. With a wealth of experience in leading community support groups, working one-on-one with individuals, and connecting clients to valuable healing resources, Carly is dedicated to providing comprehensive care that extends beyond her therapy room.
