Dr. Joshua Flatow is the founder of Pacific Mind Health and a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. He takes a compassionate, holistic approach, focusing on each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Dr. Flatow is certified in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), deep-brain theta stimulation, and ketamine infusions. He has extensive experience in crisis stabilization, medication management, psychotherapy, and substance use treatment, and is committed to delivering high-quality care that supports meaningful, lasting outcomes.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Flatow is the lead author of peer-reviewed research on oxidative stress in schizophrenia, published in Biological Psychiatry. He completed his residency training at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Medicine.
